The Meinl Sonic Energy Spirit Drum is a traditional frame drum with an authentic look and feel. Its natural goat skin head produces warm, earthy tones that can resemble the steady rhythm of a heartbeat — a sound often used in shamanic practices or sound journeys to create grounding, meditative atmospheres. Strong nylon cords on the backside provide a secure and comfortable grip, making it easy to play with the included mallet or with your hands. Each drum comes with a soft bag for safe storage and transport. Please note: As our frame drums are made from natural materials, each instrument is unique, which can result in slight variations in the texture of the skin.
